I am so damn excited to see Sweeney Todd too, and, like you, while I do loves me some Johnny, Alan Rickman has a special dark place in my heart-slash-libido. Now, I'm not what you could call a big action movie fan, but I love the movie Die Hard, and it's the only one in the series that I'll watch, all because of him. He's just amazing in it.
