You may get your wish someday. My stripe turned white in the approximate location where I regularly added a blonde stripe in my younger days. I secretly believe I damaged the hair permanently (as you no doubt know, it takes some heavy-duty shit to make dark hair blonde).

I also now have a speckling of salt-and-pepper all over the rest of my head, so you might think I was sex on two legs if you ever met me ; )
