Starbucks kind of has the same thing with a note board and I always got shafted on it too. I think it was because I always worked the closing shifts, but no one would write me a note when I did things above and beyond. I'd see notes for lesser things but not for that. Of course, I never got any of my achievement pins for completing different training either. Sometimes I really felt invisible at that place.
