I'm a big believer in having your own life and interests even if they aren't what your partner is into. Maybe that's why I'll celebrate my 11th wedding anniversary this year and all the nay-sayers got divorced. (Sorry, I'm still bitter that a few of my friends got all gloom and doom when Eric and I eloped, saying we were rushing things. I got a lot of shit about it. Their marriages lasted a few years at most and we're still going strong.)
