I absolutely promise, I was suffering greatly that day. I would hope I don't appear the sort to do the standing up with the flimsy excuses. Except, of course, to former bosses. I can only hope that karma does not choose to punish me for all my fake flat tires on I-25 over the years. Although the fact that I have suddenly come down with the Bolivian Death Flu during my brother's visit does seem like a little kick in the pants.

I'm glad to know that I don't necessarily need to know any backstory. And The Devil's Backbone is wonderful! Not quite as good as Pan's Labyrinth, but that's a pretty lofty thing to live up to.
