Oh, I know. Everyone I know voted against it, and if I find out anyone I know did vote for it, we're going to have a very strained friendship.

I already felt sick to my stomach watching the results come in, but I felt even worse when my best friend called in the morning and told me he wasn't going to class because he was in bed crying and felt like a 2nd class citizen. I'm trying to convince him to marry his boyfriend ASAP because they probably won't completely stop issuing marriage licenses for a few weeks, and they can put off the fancy ceremony until they're ready.

Also, the results haven't officially been called yet because they're still counting the mail-in votes which could possibly change it. Not likely, but still.
Also also, the city of San Francisco is already planning to file a suit against it, and the cycle will most likely start over again.
Sigh.
