It is truly amazing to think how much America has changed in the past couple decades, that people can't recognized a German Shepherd. The kennel workers probably started going through a breed book alphabetically and picked the first black and tan dog they saw. The German Shepherd vs. Airedale confusion is funny, but more ironic is the fact that your sweet favorite mutt in the photo doesn't look like a real Basenji, which normally has a smooth coat and bigger ears.
