I think our political ads started early this year, because we have the *lovely* Meg Whitman who has wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on a fancy campaign that started months and months ago. Everyone I know is ticked off at the obscene amount of money she's spent. I mean, it's her own money, but it's still depressing to see all that being spent when our state is struggling to stay afloat. And on top of all that, a few of her latest ads have been so blatantly misleading that they might as well have "THIS IS A LIE" flashing across the screen. Not that her opponent is a beacon of truth, but she is particularly sneaky.

Ugh.
