The movie is amazing but for me it spent too much time trying to ezplain the universe to vewers who don't know the show, then it picks up at incredible speed. Seriously was buzzing with trying take it all in. My mom saw the movie without seeing the series and liked it and got it because of the fact it gave explinations for those viewers. One thing I'll say is if you DO see the movie before the series, bear in mind the series is funnier. The movie includes the humour it's famous for but not quite as much as you get in the series.
