Such a shame ferrets are illegal for you. There are so many misconceptions about them that those laws are based on, like that they're wild (not true, were actually domesticated before cats) or will create a feral population if they escape (absolutely not true. They will die in a couple of days if they get outside. They have zero hunting skills). Hopefully some day you'll be able to get one (or two. Two are much more fun).
