I'm no good at coming up with "favorites," whether it be movies or bands or books or outfits. I think it's because I have a terrible memory and I know that I'll be forgetting a movie/book/whatever that I absolutely loved so I don't want to put a definitive list out there.
Some of my favorite movies include: The Princess Bride Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (haha) Across the Universe (this is a new addition) Sliding Doors Serenity Young Frankenstein Garden State That Touch of Mink Office Space Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Wet Hot American Summer
::shrug:: I tend to like a variety. To be fair, though, I tend to like most movies that I watch. I was raised with my dad watching things like "Die Hard" and "Beverly Hills Cop," so I can enjoy comedic shoot 'em ups, but I also loved watching musicals like Pillow Talk and White Christmas with my mom.
There are only two movies that I would rather kick a puppy than watch again. And they are:
Drowning Mona Idiocracy
I walked out of "Drowning Mona" in the theaters but managed to make it all the way through "Idiocracy." I wish I hadn't. Gah, it was terrible. The concept was genuinely interesting, and if it had been done well, it could have been amazing. But no, they just took the lowest common denominator and ran with it. Blahhhh.
