Some presidential thoughts

Unfortunately I missed the debate, as always my job at RGIS has an uncanny way of ruining lives, but Tery says she heard the consensus was that Kerry won. I really wish I'd seen that.
But on the way to work I had an unpleasant thought. Say Kerry DOES win (pleasegodpleasegod). What then? He will probably have to raise taxes to try to put a dent in the massive (no, not massive....Biblical proportioned-size) deficit Dubya created. Then he will be criticized by everyone, and it will be conveniently forgotten who created all the debt in the first place. Which is why myfriendDeb and I agree that anyone who WANTS to be president simply can't be trusted, cuz it's a thankless job of being scrutinized and blamed for every little thing. But if I never have to see Bush's big, stupid, moony, blank face again in this life, oh I could die really happy.
Maybe this will cheer people up who don't think there is any hope: A Letter From Michael Moore (nabbed from

I really really hope Mike knows what he is talking about.
