This post is going to be short, but important.

Pull into the driveway after work.

I see crowds of people milling around in the parking lot. Not good.

I see a huge area cordoned off with police tape. Really not good.

Tery runs to my car to fill me in.

FUCKING CRYSTAL METH LAB RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO US.

SHE WAS COOKING. THE FUCKING CRACKWHORE WAS COOKING, THIS WHOLE TIME.

I'm only sorry I missed seeing her get hosed off before the 20-man SWAT Team took her away. I hope she was crying. I hope she was sobbing.

Tery was told the unit will be uninhabitable for at least 2 years. They'll be pulling shit out of there until dawn.

Good thing it hadn't caught fire yet.

There was an article in People recently about homes that used to be meth labs, and how due to the chemicals still present, they are indeed uninhabitable long after they're shut down. Bad news for the people who'd bought the homes without knowing....

I know. That is just one of the many thoughts I had, all the things that could have happened to us. Tery's freaking out and looking for information about how high our risk of exposure is. I'm posting more later so watch this space.
