I'm underexposed to gay media-what's EW? Perhaps that's true (I don't believe it, myself. I've never met a child that isn't familiar and comfortable with gay people in the media, but then my sister and cousins watch Bravo, TLC, and Lifetime, so they're probably more likely to have been exposed to Gay Presence), but is it really one author's responsibility to make children aware of homosexuality?

There were MHO, to be sure (or maybe I just have slash on the brain too) but I don't remember his friends mentioning it. Then again, I skimmed through that book. I think it was my least favorite of all of them.
