Wow, what a tough call. I feel like it might grow on me in time if I let it, but it came nowhere close to eliciting the love-at-first-sight I felt with "Brazil" and "Fisher King" (which I saw in the theater about 5 times).
I'm not sure I can advise you since I hated "Fear and Loathing" but thought "Bros Grimm" was fairly tolerable.
I'd say open it. There's always a market for used DVDs, and the bonus disc does have some priceless footage for the fans, notably the "Getting Gilliam" documentary about his career and movie-making process.
