You'd hope so, but she explained that when the owners bring the animal in themselves, regardless of their excuse, the hospital prefers to see it as them trying to do the right thing and remains nonaccusatory, so they'll be more likely to bring the dog back for follow-up and all that. Now, if it's Animal Control bringing the dog in, that's a whole different story.
