Is it cruel of me to mock her ignorance of Harry Potter trivia? No more cruel than her making me guess the mascots of every athletic team in the country, INCLUDING some college level. But my attempts to guess aren't nearly as humorous.

Before a football game, Frank will tell me their mascots and I'll predict who will win based on mascot strength / fighting skills. I highly recommend this practice as a way for sports fans and non-sports fans to bond over sports.

We totally do that too! I once had my own NCAA brackets based solely on mascots. As you can imagine, I didn't make it very far into the tournament.

This is silly, and not at all as scientifically accurate as my practice of choosing hopefuls based on the color of their jerseys.

And what sort of totally arbitrary value point system do you assign to any given color? I think fighting prowess of mascots is FAR more useful as a predictive tool.
