Putting cowboy boots on Straight Guy:

These still have the security tag on them, which is not a good look usually. It is a little too Winona Ryder for my taste.

HONORABLE MENTION:

Straight Guy (as Carson pulls his new shoes off): These shoes aren't going to make me gay, are they?

Carson: No. But this will. (reaching around behind Straight Guy)

I have to say Straight Guy this week was cute but a complete ass. And certainly doesn't have enough wit or charm to qualify him as an "on-air personality." I think he needs more improvement than the Fab Five are capable of.

Tery finally agrees with me that Kyan takes himself (and his area of expertise) FAR too seriously, and his lack of humor just destroys his gorgeous looks. That's okay, as long as we have Carson I'm a happy grrl.

Oh for God's sake lol, you are so mean to poor Kyan :P He pretty much HAS to take his "area of expertise", as you call it, seriously, because a lot of the straight guys don't understand the importance of shaving with the grain, applying product, etc. He has to be serious to make them understand that they need to be serious about taking care of themselves. Besides, he's a top-shelf, number-one, grade A hottie, so who cares?! LOL. And the Straight Guy (whose name is Steven) is really quite cute lol, even though he was a bit of a baby with the clothes shopping with Carson. He's a music geek lol, and geeks tend to neglect the other parts of their personality in favor of being bastions of knowledge on their particular "area of expertise" (Gee, where have I heard that before? =P). Anyway lol, Thom cracked me the hell up LOL, I absolutely love when he slips into his "grrlfriend" mode and his "little old Jewish lady" mode. But of course, Carson was hilarious and I loved the Winona Ryder comment. Priceless. Well, here's hoping that next week's episode is even better!

LOL It looks like you studied the episode at some length! I totally agree about Thom, I didn't include my third favorite line, "(raising clenched fists to the sky) Damn...you....fruit....smoothie!!!!!" ROFL He is fast becoming my favorite, even more than Carson maybe.

This probably isn't the place to mention it, but I was very sad about your grandfather, but I always feel so uncomfortable, like what are the words to make you feel better? There are none. But I was thinking about you. I hope things are better now.

Aww thank you Elaine. I know it seems like there aren't words that could console me, but honestly, just knowing that you care and that you were thinking of me means a lot. A whole lot. The funeral was the hardest part; seeing his coffin covered, and reading the eulogy I wrote in the church. I'm trying to deal, though. I have a lot of other things to worry about, like the mounds upon mounds of schoolwork in which I am currently drowning. This is the last week of classes and next week is Finals week, and while I don't have a lot in the way of finals, I have a messload of papers to do. The grief I felt has left me emotionally, and, in turn, physically exhausted. I went to bed at 9 oclock the other night and woke up at 6:30am...9 whole hours of sleep, and a little while later in the day I felt tired again. It's strange. But at least I got my Christmas shopping out of the way. Although I haven't yet picked out a present for you, m'dear...but I will. ;) So thank you for your support and words of comfort, and thank you for being a wonderful friend. I love you, my Renaissance beauty Elaine. =)
