Oh I'm still plenty angry, make no mistake. But it's hard to be angry and laugh your ass off at the same time.
From The Daily Show (which I want to marry and have little tiny Jon Stewart babies):
"Just an observation. Usually when someone doesn't want to play 'the blame game'............THEY'RE TO BLAME."

Date: 2005-09-11 09:42 am (UTC)I'm sorry if Aaron Broussard crying upset you or set you off...I didn't mean to upset you. But it is a true testament to what is going on that that man was just choking up and losing his composure like that.
I found one other thing that absolutely grated my cheese like nothing else has so far. I was reading an article on AOL about the continued search for bodies in the floodwaters and whatnot, and in one of the paragraphs was a quote from Dick Cheney (note the bolded part):
Vice President Dick Cheney visited an emergency management center in Austin, Texas, and said the government was finally gaining control of the situation. "I think we are in fact on our way to getting on top of the whole Katrina exercise. We've got a lot of work ahead of us," he said.
My mom and I literally stared at the computer screen in shock when we read that. I think my mouth was actually hanging open for a few minutes. I just...there really are no words. None at all.
