It's cute :) The style reminds me a lot of McKean's opening sequence of Neverwhere. I suspect he did a great deal of it on his old Mac. There's a few pictures very much like these in the Mirrormask book, but they're backed up by drawings à la The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish. It's cool though.
