I just had the most brilliant marketing idea that will never happen (and I was inspired by an overpowering urge to own the Kill Bill soundtrack immediately). Right now music CDs are beginning to foray into mixed media, with CD-ROM content on some of them if played on your computer. WHAT IF they did the opposite of that, and DVDs also included the movie soundtrack when played on your CD player? !!!!! Because I buy a lot of soundtracks, and, well, that would save me a little time and money. But it will never happen, only because obviously they can make twice as much money with the status quo (and people like me might not want to wait for the DVD release to own the soundtrack).
